Upgrade my binding post on original VR-4 Gen 1
« on: 17 Feb 2009, 03:10 am »
Hi

Is it possible to upgrade the binding post of the original VR-4 Gen 1 with the newer data link VR-4sr Mk2's?

I'm thinking on picking up newer drivers and already have the silver wire upgrade from that year.

Thanks

Mike

If I understand your post, the new MKIIs have no data link.  They are designed to land separate bi-wires on the M/T and bass modules.

Maybe he means Audax doesn't sell direct to consumers.

Hi

Strange, I thought I saw a MK2 with the data link hookup in back?

I currently am running my VR-4 Gen1 with 2 amps, but that said, I asked my dealer to look into that possible change and to order the new cloth.

Thanks

Mike

Earlier SR Mk2s specifically the Ebonies and African Hazelwoods came equipped with the Datalink.  :green:
