Will this PS work on other devices? Also, what did the Boulder mod consist of and what did it do as a result?
Thanks for the inquiry. I'm sorry, I'm not well versed on these things so I don't know what other devices it would work with. Presumably, if the device had power requirements similar to the SB, within the specs of the PS, and with the same connector interface then it should be usable with other devices. I'll leave it up to prospective buyers to determine if it fits their needs.

The PS that comes with the SB is a cheaply made, switching unit and, most recommendations for a cost effective way to improve the sound quality of stock SB's are to replace the stock PS with a linear PS. The result I can report is purely speculative because I don't do measurements of these kinds of things. There seems to be a general consensus of an improvement in sonics and lower noise floor by replacing with a linear PS. All comments I've seen have involved SB's, though, so I don't know if this would apply to other devices used with it.
The PS I am selling was purchased for around $30 and then I paid another $125 for the Bolder Mods which are offered as a package off their website. Here are the mod details from their site:
Note: The PS model on their website (they do not sell the PS, they only perform modification on PS supplied by the customer) is a different model than what I have but the mods are the same as far as I am aware.

The mods consist of:
- Disabling the 12 volt section.
- Replacing the diodes in the 5 volt section with HexFREDs.
- Replacing all the capacitors with high quality, low ESR Panasonic and BlackGates
- The correct DC connector to fit the Squeeze Box is also installed.
