I just got my BDA-1 ... black in colour. Its a slick lookin piece. First black piece i've owned, all my other Bryston have always been silver.
Been playing around with it and i've notice a tweak that works with this dac. I put two Data Certified mouse pads under the feet of the dac, two gets under all 4 feet. I am not sure if this is news, perhaps it has been thought of before but it sure made a difference in my system. Mind u I have a relatively cheap stand and a good stand might not show an improvement. It decluttered my soundstage.
London Drugs sells data certified mouse pads for 6 bucks each. I know at the cost of these that people will try it so it would be kewl to hear some feedback. I would like to know if i need my hearing checkd out or not...
