head phone amp for i pod

Looking for a head amp to use with my i pod and may be some new headphones too. I have the bose n/c cans now.
I'll be doing some traveling this year so i'm try to up grade my traveling sounds. Help please...

Very good, really small, great sound!

I haven't tried it, but I'm definitely considering the Nuforce icon headphone amp:

Or, if you want to go smaller and cheaper, you could try the Fiio E3 or E5.

I have used the E3 with my Etymotic ER4 headphones and an iPod nano. I thought it was a worthwhile improvement for $10.
