Does ANYBODY know what kind of power connector this is?

I have a piece of lighting equipment that is battery powered and I'd like to extend the length of the power umbilical.  The male jack that plugs into the light is the same as the connector diagram below, three pins with a peg on top so to speak so that the power jack locks into place.  I've never seen this connection used anywhere else but would love to find out what kind it is so that I can buy some and make some of my own power umbilical for the light.  I'm sorry this is not related to audio at all but I don't know where else to turn (I've done about a million google searches for "three pin locking DC jack") and I was hoping a DIYer here might know what it is...I'll take some photos of the actual jack tomorrow and post them.  For now the crappy diagram I found below at a random website is all I have found...

EDIT: For a sense of scale, the diameter of the male jack is probably about a 1/4".

Is it not possible to just cut the cable in the middle and extend it that way?

Sorry I can't be more help on the actual connector. I'll dig through the digikey product book I have in a bit.

Kycon KPPX-3P

If it is the one, Mouser has them.

Peace,
