M 165 x driver

Danny
After I replaced my 8 per side Dayton RS180 aluminum cone drivers with your M165x treated paper cone driver with XBL motor tech I got some considerable improvement in the midrange timberal character and yet they only have about 50 hour of brake in time . I also suppressed the port and transformed the enclosure to a closed box and I got better integration with my subs ( as per your instructions ) . My big concern is now the digital crossover issue . I use a Behringer DCX 2496 to bi-amp the arrays plus the powered subs , The DCX is an amazing unit considering its price but I feel this is where the weak point is . The alternatives I consider are :
1- buy a highly modified DCX 2696 (SCI Technologies ) which is said to be very transparent , priced around 2000 to 3000 $ depending on the level of mods .
2-Buy DEQX PCD-2.6 with much more processing power and room acoustic management.
3- work on the passive crossover : That is a very complicated process for me and I don't have the knowledge nor the test equipment .
Your advise is very important for my final decision .
Thanks

I'd favor any system that will allow you to take measurements and adjust for any acoustic deviations of either set of drivers.
