M/T module
« on: 7 Feb 2009, 10:00 am »
Hi everybody!
Would like to know if there is any matter if I change the left M/T module to the right speaker and vice verse on VR4SR?
Reason for asking is when I opened the boxes when the speakers where new, was that the bass and the M/T module was in one unit/box but the serialnumber, bass XXXXLeft and M/T XXXXRight, seems to be wrong or maybe its correct. Should I leave it as it was in the box or???
I mean if the speakers bass and M/T is matched together.
Hope you guys understand what I talking about.
Thanks

Both L and R are extremely closely matched so you can interchange the heads or the bass units (whichever way you look at it) unlike the Gen III HSE whose M/T modules were mirror imaged (slant on the outsides). Still, I'd keep L with L and R with R just because it's neater that way :)

Thanks JackD201 for the reply.

Its good to know that one can change the modules anyway you like.

Good matching between bass and the M/T means good quality speakers. :thumb:

I had the same issue when unpacking my VR5 Anni's and I didn't realize at that time. I realized it some days later, changed the M/Ts and I saw no difference in sound. So up to today I have them L to L and R to R
