You say this was designed to mate with a subwoofer. Have something in mind? Dual 12" would rock but might make it too tall.

Depending on the cabinet size there are a few options. The height is limited to about 26" so a single 12" or dual 10" drivers are the main choices. BTW, I hope you were spared from the weather in Oklahoma today.

Tornado killed some people in Oklahoma City but we're alright here in Tulsa. It's headed your way.

Update - a dual 10" subwoofer is being designed to form a base for the Mejor. We adapted the bass section from the Riferimento for this project. Upon completion I'll have a local listening session for anyone interested in hearing a truly state-of-the-art system.  8)

OOh, this sounds perfect for a DEQX owner like me. A simple three way (with the bass modules).

So how does Esatto sound compare to the Mejor sound? What are the similarities and differences?

Yes; in fact, I'm creating DEQX files for this combination.

There is nothing better than a dual cab, full range, high end design.
Are you running the Mejors full range?

No, crossing them over with the DEQX for this design.

That must be one hell of a speaker.
What do you think about a 2-way with RAAL + Accuton? How much would that cost?
Dave Ellis said that accuton combines the strengths of revelator and seas excels : extreme resolution in the midrange but smoother and more natural than seas excel, with a more powerful bass, similar to the scan speaks. Do you agree with that?

It depends on which Accuton driver but probably in the $2K range. The Scan has the best bass of the three, hands down. Part of this is due to a larger cone area - the Accuton and Seas are really closer to being a 6.5" than a 7" like the Scan.

Very interesting richidoo.  Any idea how low Rick plays the RAAL?

$7,300-$7,800 / pr. including shipping. The pair pictured here is $7,300 and that would cover most veneers.

Is it just me or did all the pictures disappear after the forum crash?
