Wow, I was kidding....but heck now I'm not!  What great and generous people we have the opportunity to meet in this hobby....thanks guys. :thumb:

Let me figure out a couple things on my end and I may just hit one of you up for the favor!

I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the performance of the Modwright TP Art.  Heck, maybe we can even get you to ditch that old fashioned cd player!

It sounds even better with the Hyper-Drive mod

Well guys I just sold my used stock TP last nite, and before the check clears on about thurs/friday latest, I will be happy to do a short lived write up on the stock TP vs MWTP.
The MWTP will only have 160+ hrs on it when this goes down.  Guess I gotta take out my new EML rectifier for this shortlived dual (thought of that makes me cringe), since with it im addicted to my stereo like never before. That EML to me is a MUST HAVE upgrade, to help unlock full potential of MWTP.
Get back to you guys on thursday, get ready for a first round TKO!

Why remove the EML?  A boxer doesn't tie a hand behind his back just because he outhits his opponent.     :weights:    Let's see a true knock-out in the first 10 seconds.

Agreed...those people with the transport will likely spare some cash for great tubes, it would be a more unfair comparison to use stock tubes.

If I didn't already know (this was done a few months back at a local gathering - The Modwright at that time didn't have any mods or the 6SN7 adapters) that this is indeed a very quick, first round knockout, I would ask my friend to bring his stock TP over.

Once I get around to adding the EML and Hyper-drive mod, the stock unit might not even want to be in the same room!
