Record Frames for Display?
« on: 2 Feb 2009, 02:01 am »
So I recently just bought some vinyl and I really love the artwork. I would like for it to be displayed along with the vinyl itself. I came across this website http://hobbyframes.com/Records.htm. It seems to be affordable. Does anybody have any other recommendations for frames?

I bought a couple of these http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=fr0295 at Michaels just before Xmas when they were on a 2 for 1 sale.  They were $5 each, Abbey Road and Sgt. Pepper are lookin good on the wall.

I bought the same thing, they are very cool.
You could change out the record jackets every once in a while to keep it fresh

to suit your mood :thumb:

I bought 20 of the Michaels frames a few years ago and have since added sound treatments and now can only display 8.  If anyone wants a dozen used record frames cheap let me know.  :)

Hollywood poster frames is a great place. Service is good and quality is outstanding.

anodized black metal frame with plexiglass cover. Built to last a long time.

I change covers constantly and they have held up well.

I just looked at the links in this thread and noticed that the ones for Michaels are not like the ones I bought. Mine are black metal frames with glass fronts.

I invented some record frames just for this kind of use - for when you want to change record album covers frequently (and quickly).  They are cheaper than the other ones online, as well.  Let me know what you guys think.  They're brand new, so any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
