Empirical Audio Freeway 2 audiophile USB to S/PDIF converter. It is around two years old, and in excellent condition (Audiogon 8.5/10). This currently uses the M-Audio Transit drivers (it does not yet have the driverless firmware, but this can be installed by Empirical Audio). It has also been upgraded from using the stock cable to a short run of Kimber DV-75 digital coax cable, RCA terminated.
The Freeway 2 costs $650 new (and the upgraded Kimber cable cost +/- $100). The asking price for this unit is $OLD all inclusive - that would cover shipping costs to any destination in CONUSA, and all PayPal fees.
