They sure look intriguing on their website. Positive reviews in the audio community. Anyone heard or used one yet?

I heard the amp at Rocky Mountain, and thought it is tremendous value.  I was impressed enough that I am getting a loaner from the prez of the company to demonstrate at several audio club meetings.

Very interesting... wonder what the real difference is between the ONE and the TWO? And which would be better, the ONE with the premium power supply or the TWO with the stock power supply?

I didn't hear the TWO, but based on info on their website some better parts are used in the TWO.  I don't know if this equates to significiantly better sound.  I think the ONE with the premium power is good enough, besides the TWO with the stock power supply wouldn't drive power hungry speakers as well.

The power supply is supposed to make a bigger difference then the upgrade to the Two. I have the Two and love it. I did a mini review although I am not good at reviews:

I just bought a Virtue 1 c/w upgraded PS. Wanted something cheap but decent sounding, and with their return policy---
Anyway, my main system is SET based, with a tubed pre. The Virtue does somethings better, like bass, and drive. It's able to separate instruments and voices well, and percussive material is excellent. The  build quality is also very nice.
As it's still breaking in, I'll comment more later.(should also add that I much prefer it with the preamp in the chain)
Of my previous 2 T-amps, this is by far the most satisfying.YMMV, of course.

Hey Doorman & ltr317,

Now that you've had some more time with your new Virtue amps, can you post an update and mention which power supply you're using along with a few details about the rest of your system?  aa

I bought the "Virtue-1" W/std 24V PS.
This because I wanted to try one, and also my speakers are FE126E "ENabled" DIY BLH's, so quite efficient, the advertised 30wpc output is lots.
Rest of system is: Decware SE84CS, Transcendent Sound GG pre, Decware ZCD, Heybrook TT2/Linn Ittok LVll/ Clearaudio/Hagerman Phono.Misc. Goertz/Wireworld/Cat-5

I don't have the amp yet, as it was sent to the host of the first audio meeting that I scheduled.  He told me though that it sounded very good right out of the box (with the bigger power supply), enough to spur him to write up a review in the club magazine.  I'll get the amp sometime in March for the other club meetings, at which time I will put in my system for a week.
