I have for sale a beautiful pair of AV-3 transmission line tower type speakers designed by Danny Richie of GR Research and finished in natural cherry veneer. These speakers were built about six(6) months ago and include the premium Sonicap crossover capacitors and No Rez internal damping upgrade options for optimum sound quality and performance. They are 43.5" H x 8"W x 11.5"D with brass floor spikes on the bottom. This system is a 2-way design featuring two (2) 5.25" curvilinear cone woofers and a 1" silk dome tweeter in a MTM vertical alignment. Frequency response is 40Hz-20Khz +/- 1.5 db; sensitivity is 91 db/1M/1W; Impedance is 6-8 ohms; power rating is 5-100 watts. These speakers are great for high end two channel or home theater front mains. Overall sound quality is top notch being very open and detailed with excellent imaging and depth. Bass response is clean, tight, and snappy to below 40 HZ. The AV-3’s compete with speakers selling for three times their price or more. Sell pair for $900.00. Note- Due to the size and weight of these speakers I will only sell to someone who can pickup locally in tidewater area of southeastern Virginia. Will accept USPS money order or cash. PayPal acceptable if buyer agrees to pay 3 percent PayPal fee.
