Hi All,

dumb question though. Theoretically can i feed the 7.1 Analogue output to the 9B SST and 4B SST directly without a Receiver or an Processor in between?

Thankx..

Hi Cm,

NO - because there is no way to control the volume assuming the feed component (I assume a DVD player) does not have a variable output.

James,

in that case one option could be to buy a really cheap processor (a stop gap solution to SP3) and feed it with 7.1 analog output from a Bluray player which does the latest formats and then connect them to the Amps..

hope this works..

Cm..

PS: I wish SP3 is out by now.. :)

Hi CM,

Yes a cheap processor or maybe a low cost reciever with PreOuts to drive the amps.
