I am the proud owner of a lovely pair of ATC SCM 40's....

Would be interested to hear you views on them owners or not and what you are using them with..

Cheers

Hi Mattyboy

Out of interest, what source/amp etc... you using with the ATC's? I did have my eyes (ears?) on a pair but ended up getting some PMC OB1's to use with my Bryston BP26/4B-ST combo. Sounds great in a large room but my small room will require some acoustic treatment to get the best out of the PMC's.

Cheers

Ah: Just noticed you other post: My current set up is : Naim CD3.5 and Flatcap power supply......ATC CA2 ( the new one..nice!)........Bryston 4B SST......ATC SCM 40..

I had active (powered) ATC ASL SCM 150's and loved them!!  They were bought used, sight unseen pretty much, and when they arrived they overpowered the room somewhat, mostly physically.  I didn't keep them long, but they sounded great.  A more accurate speaker would be hard to find.  Good choice.

Thanks Ted... I'm thoroughly enjoying them  :D!

So far it seems there isn't any body else using these great speakers with or without the gift of Bryston...
