Anybody heard of the band Canyon?  I saw them at a Jay Farrar concert in St. Louis a couple of months ago.  They opened for him and played back up for his concert.  I was really impressed by them and I bought 2 of their CDs at the show.  The one below is REALLY good. . .I just hope someone else has heard them.  The one below has a little psychedelicness thrown in. . .  It is overall mellow, but is a good 'rock' album. . .  Has some slide guitar and keyboards. . .it is just some damn good music. . .highly recommended.

I have a friend that's in a local band called Harry Canyon, but I don't think they are the same band.
