End of an era?

Steve Jobs announced today that he'll be on a medical leave of absence till June. Not to sound morbid here, but it was a great run with the i-series Macs, iPod/iTunes, and the iPhone. The i-era. Wonder what the next decade will bring?

I am keeping my fingers crossed that it does not go back to what it was before he returned to the reigns of Apple back in late 1990s.  Apple right now is a giant, but there are several things that Jobs was opposed to and happen to have become smashing success, such as an Apple branded phone.

Hopefully they can recruit people as visionary as Jobs was at its helm.  Long live  Jobs wherever he is.

My predictions, Apple will become a multipronged electronics company a la Sony or Samsung, if they continue to make the right moves and keep the cash flow going, anything will be possible for them.  Look how Dell looks after Michael Dell made fun of Apple back in 1997.  hehehe.

I've never liked Jobs. I can't figure out why people worship him like they do.

I've also lost money a couple of times after he broke his promises.
