Frybaby CD question
« on: 14 Jan 2009, 11:51 am »
I would like to know how the frybaby cd works on a cd player.

Specificly, which section of the player does it burn in?

I have just done some extensive mods to my denon dvd2900 :D including a power supply upgrade as well as new opamps and several new resistors and capacitors including large 10uf film coupling caps on the audio board.

Will the cd help with the burn-in or break-in of these components??

Thanks...

Analog signal components and wires will benefit from the fry baby signal, ps mods will benefit from playing anything. Amp doesn't have to be on, just has to be connected to a preamp load, or 10k resistors.

or is there more to it?

The CD in a player breaks in the analog output stage.  I doubt it does anything more.
