22 AWG Silver coated copper wire.....

I'm in the process of rebuilding (remounting) my Scott Nixon TubeDac & Power Supply into one large enclosure....ditching the ABS plastic for figured Cocobolo. It appears that Scott uses 22AWG silver coated copper wire for internal connections. I'm having trouble sourcing this wire locally, anyone have a small bit that they wouldn't mind coming off of? I'm just looking for about 10' total.

Check out LAT international hook up wire - they have 20,22 and 24ga.

Wow! Thanks for that link, Occam. I didn't realize he also carried wire like this. I really like his plate amps. I have two of the Sr., one on each bass horn.

I just ran across a roll of Canare LV-77S 75Ohm coax cable in my shop. Can this be used as signal cable for the Dac?

Yes, I made a bunch of cables using LV-77S a while back and have used them for both digital and analog audio cables. The solid core version (L-5CFB) is the preferred one for digital though.

After talking with Robert at Ridge Street Audio I've decided to upgrade to his 22awg 100% Silver wire for all signal path runs. Thanks to all of you who offered to help me out
