I've got one j-low done and I'm fooling with the stuffing.  Does the small rear chamber get stuffed too?  Any insight appreciated.

That's weird.  I thought j-low was renowned for a large rear chamber.

Yes, the container we all know about, but I think the interior is more of a mystery.

The "small rear chamber" (chamber behind the driver) is the chamber to stuff. Its purpose is to help filter and absorb the higher frequencies from the backwave of the driver.

Thanks.  Did you build these and do you have any tips on deciding how much stuffing to use?  It's a tight fit through the speaker opening to get fistfulls of stuff into the back corners.

Nope, have not built a pair and have no intentions to do so either, stuff to taste, when it sounds great then its the right amount. Remember to give the driver lots of time to "break in".
