I've never before seen one of these for available on the used market. This is the best sounding amp to pass through my possession, it has a very sweet sound, with excellent dynamics and resolution. Why am I selling it? It lacks pre-power separation, so I can't run my NHT W1 subwoofers using it. It would be an amazing centerpiece for any system.
So, up for sale is my CEC AMP53 Single-ended Class A integrated amp. I got this as a dealer demo last year, it is in like-new condition and comes with the original box and manual (although the manual has some spilled coffee on it due to a clumsy coworker, the amp was not in the vicinity thankfully). Specs claim 125 watts/channel, actively cooled via fan (totally silent), temp readout, very nice cool blue display (not too intense, more like an "indiglo" feel, if you remember that), fully balanced circuitry. It has 2 RCA and 2 XLR inputs. The chassis is extruded aluminum, with a brushed aluminum faceplate and aluminum knob. This is not your typical form-factor, more like the Bel Canto gear, narrow and deep.
Not much else to say, its a terrific piece of equipment, and I feel lucky to have been able to experience it. This amp retails for $2600 new, I am asking $1400 + shipping. I am more than happy to answer any questions.
