I think you are. With the 207 being some 4 dB more efficient than the FE127eN i was using, the XO would need to be lower and then when one also considers that the 127 goes higher than the 207 a biy lower yet.
You need to knock the T90 down by about 12 dB so that is 2 octaves above where you want to XO it, so if 12k then set a nominal XO at 48k
The FT17 is 98.5 so you only want to loose about 5 dB so a bit less than an octave, say 22-23k
With the XO as high as it is, there is little worry about LF getting to it and killing it.
You dial the XO in by ear, i suggest starting a bit higher than estinated and then add small caps until it is a bit too much and then back it off a bit. Once you have found a suitable value you go out and buy a really good cap.
