Method to best break in interconnect????
« on: 29 Nov 2003, 08:41 pm »
I decided to move gear around,  so my 3M balanced interconnect  is now longer than necessary. I got a 1 M Kimber KCAG balanced IC from the local dealer, intending it for the phono pre to preamp connection.  Would it be better to use the cable from preamp to amp to break in the cable (since I could put the CD player on repeat and break in even when not listening [which of course I wouldn't do with a vinyl source]).  KCAG is silver by the way and I suspect it will need more break in than copper.

Thanks for any intelligent thoughts,
TY

Don't worry about it.  The cable is working, is it not?  Pull out a CD you haven't listened to in a long time and listen to it.  Then make yourself a sandwich.
