Guys, you should have heard this system...it was mind blowing. Very accurate and dynamic to say the least.

Ok, here goes...I should have wrote it down, but I was so entranced, I forgot. I'm sure James will chime in and make any corrections.

7BSST² amps
BP26
BDA-1 *(with upsampling engaged)
BCD-1
Media server courtesy of SoundScience
Thiel subwoofers SS4 model
Thiel CS2.4 Special Edition speakers
Torus unit (not sure which model)
Wireworld cables (the most expensive component! $24000!)

The room was pretty big too...more advantageous to the smaller rooms in the Venetian towers. I hope Bryston sets up in the Bassano meeting room again next year.

I also saw the inside of the 14BSST² It looked pretty different from the ST and SST model. I didn't see any wiring, and everything is layed out perfectly.

Also, the power switch is an actual push button switch, not membrane. It looks the same, however. It will fool you upon first glance.

There's more, and I'm tempted to go back again, but I'm pretty beat, and I took enough of James' time the last 2 days!

Review will be forthcoming in my online magazine.

Dave,

was there a difference when the BDA-1's upsampling was not engaged?
