I have  a problem with one of the monoblocks, If I used the balanced input, the peak light  go on, changing cables make no difference, even without cables. As soon I changed to unbalanced the light go off. Any suggestion?

Hello Juan,
So is this the same problem you were having a few months ago? Mine blinks on at power-on and power-off, but the peak light should virtually never come on in normal use. The only two times I have had it happen was when I was driving the RM/Xs using only a single monobloc per side (has not happened since I started bi-amping) and then again last week when I did not tighten the speaker cable post enough.

The first thing you should do is contact your dealer and let them try to solve the problem for you (that is our job and the dealer should not be happy until you are happy). If all else fails, then the dealer might have you contact James Bongiorno directly (but I personally try to insulate my customers from James as much as possible   ). It is probably best to not try to open up the Ampzilla yourself. The screws are rather difficult to get out and even more difficult to get lined up to go back in.

Here are some absolutely random things you may want to try if you have not already (probably won't help but may spark a different idea):

1) Make sure that your pre-amp is actually a fully balanced design. I am not 100% sure how the amp will act if the pre-amp is actually just a shorted XLR design and not actually balanced (which many pre-amps are).

2) Make sure the speaker cables are on tightly. If the speaker cables are on the binding posts loosely (at the amp or the speakers) then the peak light can come on for some reason.

3) Make sure all four fuses are good. Sounds stupid but I have heard this can have an effect.

4) See if the same thing happens when the amp is grounded and when the ground is lifted using a cheater plug or ungrounded outlet (WARNING: this could be dangerous. Do so at your own risk).

5) Swap left and right XLR cables to make sure that it is not just a bad pin in one of the cable connectors.

6) Take off the speaker cables and see if the light still comes on when in balanced mode.

That's all the stupid ideas I can think of right now (at least on this subject   ). The Ampzillas should be relatively bullet-proof. The layout is also such that there are not a whole lot of things that could short out. If all else fails, give me a call and I will see if I can help (I believe making an unhappy Ampzilla customer happy again is in my best interest as well).

Julian, Thank for your advised. I did cotact JB, and  he is really a nice guy(e-mail), he also gave me few suggestions. I disconnected the speaker cable without change, change channel and IC cables also without any change. JB mention something about preamp DC output resistance, but how without connection between pre and amp the pre can do something and only in one amp(the other one is fine). Any way I was looking around and the power supply of the Kora have a switch to change the ground in case of hum, I decided to changed and WALA! problem gone . the LED light only go on very shortly  when I increase the volume probably in the 90db. but Thanks again Julian for your time.
