SOLD Fi X 2A3/45 amp, upgraded Magnequest trannies

Fi X, with upgraded Magnequest transformers. It comes with a pair of 45 tubes, a new pair of 2A3s, a 5Y3, a 5V4, and an extra pair of NOS RCA 6SF5GTs, which means you're getting two full complements of tubes for this sucker. The 5Y3 or 5V4 can be used with the 2A3s; when you're running the 45s, you use the 5Y3. One "wing" of the chassis is very slightly deflected from perpendicular. The Mag trannies are so heavy they pulled things slightly when the amp was shipped to me. Rating is a 7 because Fi's are not the ultimate in fit'n'finish. Amp works jes' fine and sounds wunnaful.

These rarely come up used. This is a great opportunity for someone with the right speakers.

I believe Ed Schilling (The HornShoppe) is a big fan of this amp; it might not be a bad idea to advertise it on his forum.

That is a GREAT amp!! for the money, hard to get a better sounding one.

The 2A3s are a new pair of Valve Art or Shuguang, and the 45s a pair of strong Sylvanias, one of them engraved base. I have two or three 5Y3s for the buyer to choose from. Lots o' choices.
