Season's Greetings, Happy Holidays, and Merry Christmas for all my great friends at Audio Circle, and especially my local chums with GAS.

May all the assorted joys of the day that you've had or never had, bless you on this day.

Until we may all get together again to generate GAS-like fun, my Highest Regards!!

It's been a fun year with all of the guys and it sounds like we all have new toys to share.  Tim, when can we hear the new Avalons?   Bill, how bout those horns (both brands that is)?  Bryan, you've landed the big one this year and I think you have all of our attention.   Bob, I would still love to experience the walls shaking and the big screen in action.  I know there's more- Adrian (22 Martin Logan's & counting), Steve's almost entirely new setup.  Blackmore, we all know you're stealthy- quietly collecting this and that.  :icon_lol:  Rick, don't get me started...   Good company to say the least and EDIT I feel vindicated a bit after typing the above.

Please do not research past posts nor believe in hearsay- No wars please, only mutual admiration. :green:

Aw, what's wrong with a little war of mutual admiration? heheheh

Really good to hear everyone chime in!  I've missed way too much listening and get-togethers, and resolve to do a bit better in the coming year.  Fortunately, I've gotten a *lot* of damage repair and upgrading done at the house, with more behind me than in front of me, so I hope to see more of y'all in the future.

Anybody got any great audio plans coming up this next year?  My son Ben and I are gonna put together a couple of Bottlehead S.E.X. amps and I'm gonna see how mine plays on the Hornshoppe's and Altecs whilst Ben's are destined for some headphone action.
Well, once we get the siding on and another bathroom/laundry built  :green:

Lest I forget, Happy New Year to everyone as well!

Best Regards,
Bill

One thing is sure; we really need to meet more often.  MerRev's list does make it pretty enticing to get out and do some listening.  Let's make a New Year's resolution to get out of the house and enjoy all this new equipment. (MerRev: I can neither confirm or deny the existence of the Yamamoto YC-03S cartridge, Yamamoto headshell, K&K SUT and triple tonearm, constrained layer table under design :shh:) Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday season.  Miss you guys!

Happy Holidays to all. I look forward to sharing more audio fun with all the GAS Gang in 2009. My Christmas wish came true: a 400 watt audiophile digital amp that runs on batteries--gotta love it. :thumb:

Seasons greeting to all my new found friends here at GAS.  I've only known about this group for a few months, but the three get togethers that I've attended have been fabulous.  I look forward to attending more get togethers in 2009 and hopefully host one when my system becomes worthy of your ears.

Absolutely  :thumb:

Hey MerRev, I think I've got the woofers pretty well worked out for the OBs. I finally moved the Altec bass bins into the Blue Room. They've got as much bass extension but a wee bit more flavor than the Goodmans. They definitely have more xmax and power handling which means they don't break up as early as the Goodmans on hard core music. All in all, I like 'em a lot even though I give up a smidge in definition.
