AV123 X-LS tweeters
« on: 22 Dec 2008, 02:20 am »
Scott,
Looks like there will be a few folks upgrading their X-LS Classic speakers to the Encore model with the Skiing Ninja Budo upgrades now being available.

I will probably have seven of the original X-LS and X-CS tweeters available after my upgrades.

Will be happy to send them to you as before if they are interesting for the physics speaker project.

You might think about putting a thread on the AV123 forum in the Upgrade Central area asking for the tweeters from the upgrades.

HAL,
We used those tweeter and they are pretty nice-- and easy to work with.
Do you still have our address?  I'll send it along in a PM.

Thanks
Scott

Scott,
Got the address for shipping parts.  Putting the package together.

At the AV123 VAGTG yesterday, I told the crowd that was interested in the DIY X-LS Budo mods for the X-LS Classics to Encores about your school projects.  I let them know to contact me and I will be happy to collect any tweeters and XO's and forward them to you.

Everyone that heard about this project had my same reaction that they wished they had done this in physics class!   :thumb:

Not sure how many will be doing it, but trying to get the word out.  :)

Thanks, Rich.  We have added another high school, and it looks like we are trying to sponsor 25-30 sets of speakers!!!  I have about 20 tweeters currently, so the extras are desperately needed.

Please let me know when you ship so that I can be on the lookout for them.

Thanks,
Scott
