A Christmas Carol. The version with George C. Scott as Scrooge is my all time favorite xmas movie. Careful though, it can bring a tear to your eye.
For comedy when it's "nipply" out it doesn't get better than "Christmas Vacation."

For X-mas movies from today, they don't come much funnier than the just released on DVD & Blu-Ray Fred Claus. Too funny.
