Would you be able to use a pair of Vifa PL22WR-09-08 8" woofers for any of your student projects? Another AC member gave me these some years back and I've never used them, so I thought what better home than in a pair of student project speakers.

ABSOLUTELY.  I usually try to steer the kids toward 6" two ways to make it easier to find inexpensive but good tweeters to match, but I always, I mean always, have boys that want those extra few notes of bass. Please send these to:

I almost forgot, please try to pack them for lower primates to handle.  I have had several donated woofers with broken frames from rough handling.   UPS or the post office seem to usually be the least offensive.

Excellent. I will try and get them shipped today but it may be Monday before they go out. They are still in the boxes I received them in, so hopefully they will survive but I'll check be be sure they are secure.

Be sure to post a photo so the completed project, I'd love to see where they end up.

Those Vifa's arrived today.  Those are going to make some physics student verrrryy happy.
