Ordered some waterlox for my next little project, gathering stuff up to build a couple of more TT sandboxes  what kinda brushes do you guys like I have been using disposable foam as even the navy would not let me paint   Should just spring for a HVLP gun, would make my life a lot easier on these projects.

FWIW, I use Waterlox on almost all of the wood bowls I turn.  It's a popular finish for wood turners.

I apply it with a cloth, so typically a fairly thin coat each time.

I prefer brushes by Purdy.
The Syntox brush worked beautifully with Waterlox.

Seems like there are very few oil finish fans around.  Probably because of the no protection from water spots.   Too bad. :(

Maybe someone in this tread can help me.  I have made a cocobolo faceplate for a amp I made.  I am using a carnuba wax as I read online is appropriate for this wood.  I seem to be getting some cloudy spots on the wood.  I am only hand buffing.  Will power buffing help this?  It is only minor clouding that is only visible under direct light.

Thanks
Kris
