The iPhone/iPod has a bigger display and a touch screen, which makes it more flexible, so browsing large lists is faster and some things look nicer, e.g. the Internet Radios/Music Services.
iPeng is especially strong if you want to use multiple players because it has a "MultiPlayer" contol that gives you access to all of them in one place.
