First off... not sure if it's bad form to ask questions about building a clone of someone's sub...
It has been retired for a while... If this is a no-no... I'll delete the thread (if I can - at worst I'll clear out my text).
I currently own a single HSU TN-1220HO and their 500W Amp.
I'd like to add a second... but the few I've seen for sale used are always including another amp which I don't have need for since the amp I have now and drive 2 subs.
So my thought is to attempt to build one using the original for dimensions and what not... the question is finding a similar driver.
Or... would I be better off building a second one and buying two new drivers and replace the original driver just to ensure I have a matched pair.
If that's the case... anyone have suggestions?
