PS Audio- Anyone have one or heard one?

Looking at getting a new integrated amp or power amp.

Cannot find much press or talk about PS Audio.

Anyone have one, had one or heard one? I am interested in how well the company is utilizing the ICEPower
technology. (I have heard just a few comments from owners, have not found a formal review from the Audio mags)

I am almost 100% certain Stereophile had some write-ups of their products.  Otherwise, why not just Google.  Some European sources should come up also.  May be even outside of Stereophile?  like Enjoy The Music, etc.  I remember reading an article from U.S. review sources.

Here's some insight:  Cullen Circuits manufactures their products.  They also know how to make them "better" and sell products with the enhancements under their own name or Wyred4Sound.  You'll find Cullen manufactures for quite a few big name companies.

My past experience with a GCA amp was not pleasurable.  YMMV

I have a cullen circuits modded Ps audio C-100. I really like it. I felt it to be a very nice upgrade from my previous amp, very transparent, and it has well defined bass -this is what I was looking for most. I had used an onix sp3.

I would buy a wyred4sound before ps audio amp, I think price and quality is better. But it sounds like its going to be a while before they offer an integrated.

There are reviews on www.10audio.com of some ice power amps. Ps audio was reviewed there.

I've had multiple icepower amps, including the PS Audio Trio.  It was a solid amp, but I preferred different iterations using the same modules better, for example I preferred the Red Dragon Audio Amp-1s that sold for 1/2 the price of the Trio.  One thing that bugged me about it...which was stupid I know, but the LED had a loud buzz, audible from the listening position ~ 7ft away.  I listen at lower volumes so any sort of mechanical noise from gear is unacceptable to me, and I find noises like this particularly annoying.

Something from W4S or D-Sonic should be = to it if not better, but it depends what you are looking for.  If you can find Murano, Red Dragon, or EVS they all should be better, speaking from experience with the Red Dragons and EVS.

PS Audio's power products are great. I note almost every comment on your question leads to audio tweakers and not to an answer to your specific question. The Abslute Sound lists their gear often as recommended.
