Hi, I am upgrading my sound system with a budget.
i am currently running a marantz 100 w / channel
going to the yamaha 1800(130w)/channel
mains-RBH tk-5ct
rears-bose 301
sides-streem-490
center-infinity 360

i am in a quandry as to a subwoofer'
i have 5 choices narrowed.
jbl-L8400
cadence-csx-15
earthquake-ff12
infinity-sw12
polk psw1000(fact. refurb)
all in the $3-400 area.

can you help me decide?

I'd go for the Polk sub, personally.  It looks great, is built like a tank, is quite musical, and can rumble quite well. The only caveat is its limitation in frequency extension.  Otherwise, it's a very solid product.
