Just a quick plug for Bill at Morningstar Audio and his new (at least I think it's fairly new) Eastern Electric Minimax Integrated Amplifier:
I've had it now for about two or three weeks and it's a keeper. I've been a fan of the EE stuff for a few years now and I jumped on this little dude when I saw it. It's a little 8WPC integrated--with a remote!
And, best of all, it only sells for $950--I don't know how they do it...
I'm not going to wax poetic about it, I'll let others not involved in the biz do that, however, if you are in the market for a tube amp up to $1500, or so, check this little guy out. I am pretty impressed and am happy to recommend it to those of you with sensitive speakers.
No, I do not sell EE, it is sold direct. No, I don't get a commission. I was just impressed enough with it to take the time to let others know about it as I wasn't familiar with it, I think it kind of gets lost in the shuffle. But, seek it out.
