Considering all the information you have in your monthly publishings, it's well worth the wait. I usually just open up another page and move onto something else. then in a half hours time, I come back to your page and it's ready to go. It's not that big a deal for me personally.

Nah, I pay the extra 20 bucks a month for Comcast Business class.  No limits on downloads.
Well worth the money.

Satfrat: I'm surprised it's taking so long.  Usually a couple of minutes on a high speed connection.

Also, we've had the best luck just downloading it to a folder, your desktop, whatever and then
reading the PDF offline in Adobe Reader or Preview if you are on a Mac.  Goes super fast then!

When I dl'ed the SP1 for Visual Studio 2008 and .NET, I remember it being over a gig.

Try downloading the entire CS4 package, I bet on a torrent it'll take a lot longer than 18 minutes, but then again, getting it for free has its tradeoffs

Getting software for free is stealing.

Probably not a good idea to announce that on a web forum.  Adobe is getting
pretty militant about prosecuting that kind of thing.

Besides, I use it to earn my living, I don't mind paying for it.

I got an email from a reader in Greece last week, he has just a phone line for Internet, so he downloads both TONE and A$$A overnight when they are ready.  Five minutes TONE sure doesn't seem very long, now does it?
