Hello again,
I had a b-100 at home for a week to see if this was the solution for my "problems" with the b-60, the answer is a big nope.
There was a very small difference between the two , the b-100 had a tiny, tiny bit more sparkle and slam but the sound was still as flat as a pancake.
so just as i personally thought more power was not the solution, just like the b60 pre with a 2b sst end before made no big difference. (sorry James)
So it's sad

to say out goes the Bryston b-60 and in comes the Symphonic line rg14 edition.
coupled with the bcd-1 in my setup there is so much more depth, space, magic, emotion, involvement etc. with the symphonic line , it's almost unbelievable.
Even the wife thinks so and she couldn't care less, so the difference is certainly not subtle.
I really tried hard to like the the sound of the b-60 (and b100,b60pre+2bsst) but it just didn't work for me.
Probably my Kef's don't match that well with Bryston amps

???

or maybe i'm not ready for the Bryston sound
