PRISTINE 6L6 VT-115 METAL TUBES - $15/EACH

I came across a large group of PRISTINE 6L6 metal tubes in two varieties.

The first are RCA US Army Signal Corps VT-115.  I have only inspected one (you basically need to tear apart the box to get to the tube), but the one I have seen has the code “S2”.  Standard military box, but no pack date on the box.  Photo can be seen at:

The second are simply labeled RCA 6L6 in white boxes that have “SC 189 A” on them.  I have only inspected one (I can with a lot of effort get them out of the box), and the one I inspected has the code “S5”.  A photo can be seen at:

Either version is $15 per tube.  Take 5% off for 4-7, 10% off for 8-11, 15% off for 12-15 and 20% off for 16 or more.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Please note that, in order to preserve the packing, these tubes HAVE NOT BEEN TESTED and are being sold ‘AS IS’; however, I will guarantee against DOA.  I can provide pictures or additional info on request.  I can also test on a Weston 981 III if you do not mind potential damage to the package.

PLEASE NOTE THAT I CANNOT GUARANTEE (OR EVEN REMOTELY PREDICT) HOW THESE TUBES WILL SOUND OR PERFORM IN YOUR EQUIPMENT.  THE TEST RESULTS ARE ONLY PROVIDED AS AN INDICATION OF TUBE PERFORMANCE IN A VERY LIMITED (AND NON-IDEAL) ENVIRONMENT.  OTHER THAN AS SET FORTH ABOVE, I EXPRESS DISCLAIM ANY LIABILITY WITH RESPECT TO THESE TUBES OR RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR USE OF THEM.

Money order/cashiers check/personal check preferred, but all must clear my bank first.  I also accept Paypal for convenience (but add 3.2% to the total).

I am willing to ship globally but, outside of the USA and Canada, more stringent payment and shipping conditions apply.  In any case, the buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.  Contact me for a quote.

Please check my feedback on Audiogon, Videogon and Ebay (ID=baileyler) and buy with confidence.

I did test representative samples on a Weston 981 III.  They came out at 2300 and 2350 (min. 1300, theoretical 100% about 2000), with no interelement leakage.

Time to give this another bump.
