I built these to augment the
Selah Dipoles I have for sale in another ad. They are both 20" cubes with
Dayton RSS390HO subwoofers and Rythmik Audio A370 plate amplifiers. The front and rear baffles are 1.5" thick, and the enclosure is well braced. The boxes are sealed with a low Qtc ~ .6. They are finished with Band-It black melamine. The melamine did not come out as well as i'd liked. There are a few bubbles in the melamine and the edges did not finish very well. Also, one of the subs (Sub1 in the gallery) has a crack in the melamine and the grill fasteners are poorly aligned. Despite these visual issues, the subs sound very good and blended very well with the dipoles I had. Also, the visual issues are not so bad from a distance.
I have the two subs labelled as Sub1 and Sub2 in
this gallery, which contains many images of both subs.
I am asking $325 OBO for Sub1 and will include a set of
Auralex MoPADS which worked very well to isolate the sub from my suspended wood floor.
For Sub2, I am asking $350 OBO and will include a set of brass spikes and an
Auralex Gramma isolation platform.
I prefer to sell locally (Austin area) due to the size and weight (~100 lbs each) of the subs but will ship at the buyers expense. Also, I will offer a significant discount if purchased with my
Selah Dipoles.
