looking for CD transport

Any recommendations for a reasonably priced CD transport for my Benchmark DAC1? My Alesis ML9600 sh#t the bed.

A used Rega. The Benchmark requires a really good transport to sound its best. Very neutral piece. It will reveal the faults of the transport in spades. A laptop such as a Mac would be highly reccomended. With a transport the digital cable can be an issue as well. With what can be done with the computer these days a dedicated transport is becoming a thing of the past.

Apparently it's made in China.  Look under the link "about us"  on the Vanguard player's site.

But ... I took a shot and replaced the ML9600's hard drive and tada! It's workin' again.
