The Day the Earth stood Still remake stunk so bad I immediatly gave it away to the neighbors kids.The 1951 original was tremendous,a movie you can watch again and again,a lot having to do with Bernard Herrmanns stunning soundtrack which was the first,I beleive to intruduce the Theremin,an electrical instument that is played putting your hands near a metal rod,to create an alien(UFO) type of music style.Many monster movies or sci-fi movies copied that style after the original......Dawkus
