Over the air HD question

Over the air HD question

Will I lose my OTA HD in February when everything goes digital or will that continue to be broadcast? I hate the thought of paying DirecTV for something that I am now getting for free.

You are already getting it in digital, correct?

As far as will you lose it, it depends on if it is a temporary broadcast of some kind...

Actually, the opposite.  You will lose the analog channels, not the digital ones (assuming 2/17/09 stays the date).  And most of those digital OTA channels are/will be UHF (only the early bidders got the good VHF stuff).  Your current OTA HD and other OTA digitals are just ahead of the game.
