Yes, I'm selling my old standby, the Honshoppe horns... I've had these for years but it's finally time to let them go. I moved my listening room into an open 1500 SQ ft basement, and it's just too big. I'm using Altec A7s now, and I hate to keep these and not use them.
The sound, of course, is phenomenal... I used these in everything from a 10x10 dorm room, to a 12x14 bedroom, to the huge basement.. drove them with tripath, a .75 watt darling, an F3 clone... they never disappoint. I preferred them to Ellis 1801b and Buggtussel Cingulates, both of which I sold.
They have the fantastic original drivers, long out of production. I prefer them to both the newer 108-ez and the 106.
Cosmetically, these are from an early run, and even from the first day they weren't pretty (sorry Ed). There is one small triangular ding in the side of 1 speaker (tried to photograph it but it got lost in the flash). These are stained plywood and look like it; no veneer.
