This is a Back Loaded Horn cabinet design built out of Birch Ply. Uses the Fostex FE 126E driver. Has stainless steel footers, and driver launching ring. These are a small floorstander that measure out 36" tall by 7.5" wide by 15" deep. Uses Cardas binding post and 14 AWG OFC internal wiring. Speaker is 95DB efficient, and capable of being driven with low powered tube amplifiers. Or it will turn a modest 30 WPC integrated amp into a powerhouse. Introductory price was $699+ duties and shipping(they are from Canada) Sell for $350 + shipping

This speaker is perfect for those looking to experience the benefits of full range drivers at a modest cost. The FE 126 is capable of holographic imaging, and displaying fine detail in a manner that the larger drivers can't.T he cabinet allows the the FE 126 to produce satisfying bass response. All in all it is a well thought out design with excellent build quality. For instance, cabinets were built on a CNC machine, not someone in their garage with a table saw and router. It might be good to note that Aletier is Gemme Audio factory direct offering, and shares their build facilities.

These speakers have an early production bass enhancement plate. This plate substantially extends the bass response of the speaker, and also reinforces the side walls of the cabinet. With the plate in place the First Horn becomes a hybrid between a rear loaded horn and a transmission line design. This technology eventually became incorporated into the mega-dollar Gemme speakers Vivace and Tanto.

So if your into SET, small British integrated, or chip amps, than the First Horn is an excellent match for all of them.

Note: weight is approximately 42lbs per speaker. Have factory packing. Paypal users add 3%.

Not to be a stick in the mud about your otherwise perfect ad, but what is the selling price?
