What a guy...

Jim took this photo while perched on a ladder. I had requested a full length photo of my SongTowers which were mocked up with various drivers and baffles while laying down. Talk about going to great lengths, or in my case heights

It helps to be decisive. There can be too many options sometimes. I looked at veneers, and looked at them again and again. And in the end, practicality overcame my indecision, and I went the KISS method and opted for black.  My pocketbook had a lot to do with my decision too. As for the baffles I've gone with the silver. Sort of a last minute choice but I feel at least they will be somewhat distinctive. They will be placed along side my new plasma so the black will be a nice fit and hopefully the bling effect of the baffle wont come off too strong. 
We'll see shortly. aa

I agree with Nuance.  Nice choice fishinbob.  The "high-tech" SongTowwer RTs, look great!

Anybody asks me about a moderate size room friendly full range affordable speaker and I will direct them to these beauties.   I listen with MTM configured speakers myself using twin 5” drivers.  Transient fidelity and recover time is one of their most engaging characteristics and the Song Towers are a transmission line design to boot.  A lot of thinking went into this design it appears to me.  Are those baffles ridged ala Celestion SL 600’s from yesteryear?  No matter, really, the tweeters have a bit of a guide going on.  To his credit, Jim deserves bloody hurrahs for availing these at the price.  More exposure and these got home run written all over them.  Or, maybe I'm just catching up.  I'm doing a number for a former reviewer in TAS (don't know as of this moment what he's doing in that capacity but he is connected) and he's gonna hear about these.

Hi   Although a lot of thought did go into the design, acoustic diffusors on the baffle was not one of them.   Tose aren't really ridges.  They just photograph that way.
