I assume you have the speakers firing down the length of the room, meaning they are placed somewhere along the 12 ft wall? My system link is in my signature below and shows my Revs. My room is 15.25' x 22.75' so somewhat wider and squarer than yours, but no problem. Start with the Revs about 2 feet away from each side wall, and toe them in considerably, so the line they make to your ears is either crossing 2 ft behind you to as severe as 2 feet in front of you (I use a laser level and use the side of the speaker that is to the inside, i.e right side for left speaker, etc.). The severe toe-in will help break up any side wall issues and will create a wonderful soundstage. The more toed-in, however, the more the sweetspot narrows for one listener or two. Common knowledge is that waveguides image the best when fired right at you, so start there and move a few inches until the center becomes mono line source.
As for your front wall (the wall in front of you, behind the speakers) I 'd move the speakers out a good 5 feet or so (measured to front of speaker cabinet). And try to be symmetrical if you can (within a half an inch, if possible). Each room is different, so these are very very rough starting points. Others will argue about the toe-in, especially, but with such a narrow room you are best to try this first. ( Of course if you are placing them on the 30 ft wall, then we start over.
). Also, make sure the distance from side wall and front wall aren't the same; lower frequencies will appreciate it.
