...at least for now.

After getting approval from Maryland Heights zoning, and spending thousands on architectural drawings, the bids I got for the room addition were well in excess of what I paid for my house. Even if I had the cash, it is not feasible. I would be better off having a custom home built, designed around the studio.
After recovering from the trauma, I decided to move in a different direction. I have added some basses to my arsenal, including a beautiful hand made 5 string Upton double bass with a low B. I am slowly reclaiming my long forgotten bow chops. I also did a major upgrade to my portable recording system, with a MOTU 896mkIII firewire interface and Glyph RAID drives.
I have tons of production work right now, so not having a room isn't cramping my style, but I'm still weighing my options.
