I had it hooked up to a system with Fostex FE107s and it was too noisy to use with these speakers.
I had no problems with other speakers I tried with it a few months ago.

Must have been something wrong in my setup with the preamp and CD player, I just checked the amp again with some small cheap speakers to report on the noise, and it has very little noise.

Is the 140wpc rating a guess?  Just wondering about that question mark.  Does it run warm/hot?

The power rating is what I was told by the original owner, but since I can't "look up" the specs and I didn't check it myself I used a ?
I would say it runs warm.
