Id love to get my hands on one and at least measure the output voltage at high gain. Anyone have a JD-9A and a multimeter?

I do...

But, I'm not sure what the results would mean...

The guy who was debating Jolida's specs didn't even take into consideration things like cartridge loading or the fact that gain can result from amplifying current without even changing the voltage of a signal... and I'm sure a few other things neither he nor I fully understand...

Like I said, my take on it is that the guy obviously doesn't know his stuff well enough to argue with the specs. Even I, with my limited knowledge could point out a few things he didn't take into consideration that would most certainly affect his equation. Also, it's BLATANTLY OBVIOUS the gain of what comes out of those higher outputs is significantly greater than what any other phono stage I've ever seen is capable of.  Since that's exactly what the specs claim... why on Earth wouldn't they be accurate? That's kinda' what I'm saying about the value of that whole thread...
